Easy Chicken Curry | North Indian Style

Hot chunks of chicken in a rustic blend of herbs and spices! On this episode, Chef Sam walks us through the making of a real quick & easy North Indian chicken curry recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Plateful- Chicken Thigh
  • 1 tbsp- Cumin Seeds
  • 3 tbsp- Chicken Curry Powder
  • 2 tbsp- Fenugreek Leaves
  • 5 tbsp- Sam's Curry Base
  • 1 Green Chili
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • 3 tbsp- Cooking oil
  • 6 tbsp- Yogurt
  • Fresh Cilantro

Steps (stir between each step):

  1. Add oil to preheated pan
  2. Add cumin seeds
  3. Add Sam's curry base
  4. Chop & add green chili
  5. Add water
  6. Add chicken curry powder
  7. Add more water
  8. Add salt (to taste)
  9. Add raw chicken thigh
  10. Stir well
  11. Simmer for 10-15 mins
  12. Add yogurt
  13. Add fenugreek leaves

And... There you have it - a mouth watering chicken curry made in minutes. Serve with rice, naan, or roti.
